Howard and Family, Can’t tell you how often we thought of you guys over the years. So many wonderful memories of our young families playing and growing together. I know we lost touch but you were never forgotten. Our sadness for you is deep. We are out of state and can’t be with you at this sad time. But our hearts are there. Kathy was a beautiful person and we loved her. We love you all. Steve and Laurel Fisch

Kathy was a funny, loving woman who I was blessed to know through neighborhood events and gatherings. She always had a kind word to say and offered a compassionate ear to anyone who wanted to talk. She will always be remembered for her joyful giving in and around Dewittshire where she and her family have lived for many decades. Rest in peace Kathy and may your family find peace in this difficult time.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I will never forget the first time I met Kathy, walking home from school in 1st grade to my new friend Ben Brodsky's house -- and when we got in the door he announced to his mom, "Hi Kath! We're home!" From there ensued an entire childhood filled with great memories with the Brodsky family - Camp Iroquois, bar mitzvahs, and an overall home away from home. One funny memory is riding in the third row of the Vista Colt, a design flaw of which allowed Ben, Aaron, and me to release the lock on the second row every time Kathy braked -- causing the younger Brodsky boys to go sliding forward. Kathy was a devoted, loving, and patient mother and her loss is immense. My thoughts and sympathy are with all of you.
