Muriel Levy Elman

She spent her early married years working in her husband’s electronic repair store in Eastwood. Her time outside that work was devoted to her family. She would often care for her grandchildren Nicole, Marc and Jason. Despite not liking driving she would cart these grandchildren around Syracuse for their amusement from the original Fayetteville mall to Lafayette country club.
She is warmly remembered by her grandchildren as someone who was always caring, always present and who could always find a way to make them smile. These grandchildren spent countless hours at her first home playing Neil Diamond records, watching black and white television and enjoying home cooked family meals around her long dining room table.
After the passing of her first husband, she found the second love of her life Joseph Elman. In the Autumn years of their lives they were a source of light and rejuvenation for one another. She made sure to care for and love his family as if they were her own. That is just who she was; someone that always gave her all to those she loved. She will always be remembered for her exceptional kindness, reserved sense of humor, and the best Sunday French toast anyone has ever tasted.
She is survived by her daughter Susan (Stuart) Sloane, son Rick Levy, grandchildren Nicole (Chad) Russell, Marc (Meaghan), and Jason (Rebecca), nephew Stephen (Marsha) Rothenberg, and great grandchildren Luke, Emerson, Carson, Mason, Donovan, and Aria
