William F. Goldberg

William F. Goldberg passed away on February 5. He was born on October 14, 1965 and was a lifelong resident of Syracuse.
He was employed by United Parcel service for 29 years and upon retirement became an Uber driver.
He loved the Grateful Dead and attended numerous concerts which he taped and shared with whomever asked for copies.
He is survived by his father Harold and his sister Michele. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours or service. May God rest his soul.

Bill had a big heart. Though I had not seen him for decades, he was as enthusiastic as ever, about meeting up to see some jam band (which? I cannot remember now) up in Indianapolis some years back…I wish I had made the time do that. Life is too short, and I think Billy knew that, and lived with verve and enthusiasm, always looking forward to the next set. I know he”ll always be right in front of the soundboard. Peace to his family.
