Isidore Bialek, 101, died peacefully at the Syracuse Veterans Hospital on Monday evening. Born on April 5, 1923 to Abraham and Lillian Bialek in New York City, he had been a resident of Chittenengo since 2001.

He was a graduate of CCNY with a degree in accounting. He attended under the GI bill after serving his country during WWII in the US Army.

He met his wife Frances in 1946 and they were married in 1948. They made their home in the Bronx, later moving to Riveredge, NJ.

During his professional career Isidore was the CFO for a NYC law firm. He enjoyed playing pinochle, and poker at his weekly Friday night games.

His wife Frances of blessed memory passed in 2018.
His family includes his daughters Laurie (Mark) Kasdorf, and Lisa (Chris) Watkins; grandchildren Mark, Chris, Christopher, and Catherine; and great-grandchildren Cassandra, Mark, Sawyer, and Carmi.

Funeral services will be at 1:30PM on Friday August 23 at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 at the funeral chapel 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenengo.
