Paul Andrew Silverman, passed away at home just shy of his 60th birthday from natural causes. Born on July 27th in Brooklyn to Robert and Harriet Silverman, he had been a resident of Syracuse since 1965.
He attended JD schools, and was a BOCES student as well. Paul worked in many places and enjoyed his participation wherever he worked. Most recently he was working at the Syracuse Marriott.
Though Paul had many health challenges partially due to his leg-perthes disease they never defined or limited his life.
Paul was a member of, and celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at Congregation Beth Sholom Chevra Shas.
He loved to fish, music and attending concerts in the local music scene. He never met a stranger~ his warm and outgoing personality drew people in not matter where he went.
His family who he adored includes his parents Robert and Harriet Silverman, his brother David and his wife Jessica; his sister Stephanie, his niece Raia and his nephew Samuel.
Funeral services will be at 2:30PM on Tuesday the 30 with a visitation from 1:30 to 2:30 immediately prior to the service at Sisskind Funeral Chapel, 3175 E Genesee Street. Burial will be in the Beth ASholom section of Oakwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Access CNY, or Congregation Beth Sholom Chevra Shas

Paul, You were always a kind and misunderstood soul from the day I met you at menorah park. You have a heart of gold and mean no one any harm. I will hold our friendship very dear to my heart. Our outing to so many different places to eat, trips to the store and you making me cds( that I never listened to) ! Always so cheerful and willing to do what you could for anyone!!! You will be missed !!! Happy birthday anyway!!!! By the way my vacation was nice and I caught a 6 inch guppie! lol
