Theodore “Ted” Kassel, 79, passed away early Wednesday morning in Denver. Born on April 3, 1944 to Louis and Eva (Moloff) Kassel in Syracuse; he had been a resident of the Denver area for many years. He was a graduate of Nottingham High School, RIT, and earned his master’s degree from RPI. During his professional career he most recently was the Vice President of International Multi Foods of Denver.
His dedication to his family was paramount. Ted travelled east to visit with his children and grandchildren often. He and his wife Jane enjoyed travelling, especially time spent in Aruba.
His family includes his wife Jane; his daughters Nicole (Patrick) Gorman, and Melissa (Peter Butler) Ananias, Beverly’s children Kenny Martin, Sean (Amy) Martin, and Jennifer (Mark) Smith; his brother Neil (Jackie) Kassel; and 12 grandchildren
Funeral services will be at 11AM on Sunday February 18 at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends
may visit with the family immediately prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.

Ted, rest in peace my beloved step-father. I can never thank you enough for providing guidance whenever I needed it, you gave me direction, and I can never thank you enough for that. You were such an amazing, loving and giving role model you showed me what kind of man I wanted to be. I miss your classic "Ted Laugh", your wit and sense of humor and will cherish all the memories we shared together. I love you - Ken
