Richard Kamp, 64, passed away at his home in Alpharetta, GA early Wednesday evening. Born on December 3, 1959 in Syracuse to Donald and Gertrude Hoffman Kamp he had lived most of his life in Syracuse until moving to Alpharetta to be closer to family.
He was a graduate of Jamesville Dewitt High School, and earned his Bachellors degree from RIT. He worked for the family business Fulton Iron and Steel Company of Fulton, NY; and was a principal in Fulton Scrap Processors LLC of Alpharetta, GA.
Richard was a championship winning skeet shooter, and an avid “car guy”.
Pre deceased by his beloved mother Gertrude.
He was the devoted son to his father Donald, brother to Gary and sister-in-law Fran, doting uncle to Nathaniel (Kate). Matthew (Brandi), and Gregory (Kate), and great uncle to Barrett, and Liam, and Phoebe
Funeral services will be at 11AM on Sunday, January 7, at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
