Aunt Sylvia was 9 years older than me. She was my baby sitter in the Ozinsky apartment in Brooklyn where my Mother ,grandparents and Sylvia and I resided while my father was serving in Europe during ww2 That was the basis of a very special relationship with my favorite Aunt. There was always a smile and the warmth of love when we saw each other. I will miss her and remember her always. My love and condolences to the extended Gilman family. Love Wayne

Arlene and I were very saddened to learn of Sylvia’s passing. She was one of a very few people that emanated love and kindness as part of her being to everyone she encountered. Her sweetness was defining of the person she was and was met with reciprocity. If there is a model for living a good and honorable life, Sylvia defined that model. Everyone whom she met loved her because she glowed with happiness and love. It was apparent not only in her demeanor, but also in her good deeds. May her memory continue to cause her family and friends to feel her glow forever. Allan and Arlene Yozawitz

Dear Bobby, Michael, Lori and Randi, I am so saddened by your mother's passing. She always had a warm smile and great hug for me when I saw her. Your mother and my mother, Marilyn Schwartz, were the best of friends for so long. Your family and my family were so intertwined for so many years. Your mom made me special candies for my parties and wedding, she came over lots of times to give me her special chocolates that she knew I loved. She gave presents to my children, Louis and Rachel Blacker. She was a good friend to my father, Arnie Schwartz, when my Mom passed away suddenly. I feel in my heart that my parents, your father, and Linda and Mickey Pellman are welcoming your Mom to heaven and they are all together again. May your mother rest in peace. Much Love, Stefanie Schwartz

My sincere condolences to the family. I'm a co-worker of Randi and she is a very special person, kind, sweet, loving and caring and a hard worker amongst other qualities. I'm pretty sure she got these traits from her mom. Randi, I'm truly sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!
