Mary Pepper, 85, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning with her family by her side. Mary was born May 15, 1936 to Stephen and Ethel Adams. She was a life resident of Syracuse. For many years she worked side by side with her husband Max of blessed memory in their family business Maxton Carpet Company of Syracuse. She also worked for Onondaga County as a clerk reviewing applications for the HEAP program. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, and the sisterhood of the Temple. Mary enjoyed spending time with Max socializing with friends and attending events at the Lion’s club

Her family includes her daughter Phyllis (Ken) Mowers; her grandson Noah, and Max’s children
Melinda Lerner, Dani (Hal) Lancer, and Rick (Pat Hartley) Spiegelman from previous marriages; and a large and loving extended family.

The service will be live streamed beginning at 11AM Thursday on the Sisskind Funeral Service Facebook page.

Graveside services will be at 11AM, Thursday in the Adath Yeshurun Cemetery www.sisskindfuneralservice.com
