Harold H. Schwartz, 82, died Monday at Menorah Park. He was born May 27, 1937 to Bessie and Saul Schwartz and grew up in the Bronx, and attended City College of NY.
He moved to Syracuse in 1966. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Harold enjoyed a career in sales where he loved engaging with his customers. He loved reading, lively discussions on politics, writing, and spending time with his family. He was a long time member of Temple Concord.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie Roth Schwartz of 56 years; their children Robin (Michael) Dorris, David Schwartz, Shari Schwartz, and Beth (Gregg) Engel; and grandchildren Emma Stephen, Lillian, Cara, Samuel, and Evelyn.
Funeral services will be at 11AM on Friday, February 21, at Temple Concord. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 10-11 on Friday at the Temple. Burial will be in the Temple Concord section of Woodlawn Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Temple Concord.
Shiva will be observed at Beth and Gregg’s home on Sunday the 23rd from 1-3PM.
