Sadie Pasha

Sadie Pasha, 67, died of coronary heart failure in Washington, DC. Born in Harlem, New York, she was an active resident of Syracuse from 1989 to 1996, an Advocate for the community and a graduate of Syracuse University, where she studied Information Systems, Public Policy and Photography.
Ms. Pasha was a Genealogist with 43 years experience in her field. She wrote a manuscript, dating back to 1750, on the Sephardic ancestry of her mother Edna Smith Day, who died in Syracuse in 1995.
Ms. Pasha is survived by her two sons Omar of Los Angeles, CA, and Hasan of Syracuse, NY; her grandchildren Erykah, Marcus, Andre, and Harlem; her older brothers Richard, and Daniel; and her younger sisters Sandra and Lorraine.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11AM on Monday December 9 in Oakwood Cemetery. Please meet at the entrance to Oakwood Cemetery on Comstock Avenue at 10:45
The service will be live streamed on the Sisskind Funeral Service Facebook page beginning
at 11AM on Monday.
