Susan Fox, 79, died Tuesday, November 5th, in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Born in Syracuse to Philip Rakov and Lenore Spectorman, she had been a resident of Syracuse until retiring to Delray Beach, FL. She and her late husband Morty moved to Ponte Vedra Beach to be closer to family. Sue was a graduate of SU, majoring in Education. She was an elementary school teacher at both Heman and Kinne Street in East Syracuse and was adored by her students, friends and family. Sue was a lifetime member at Temple Adath Yeshurun. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working on the NY Times Crossword Puzzles. Sue was married to Morty Fox for 56 years, until his passing in July of 2017. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-laws Amy and Bruce McKean, Shelly and Craig Bloch, grandchildren Alex, Jared, Griffin and Tyler; and her sister Linda (Kenny) Beckwith. Funeral services and burial were in Ponte Vedra Beach.
