I have such fond memories of my neighbors, the Lakehomers from Merman Drive in DeWitt. Lois and Billy were a riot to be around and my parents adored both of them. May you all find peace during this difficult time.

Sending sympathy from Bob and Marilyn Hordies’ children: Ruth (Payne), Barbara (Harte-Westover), Mark and Howard. We have many fond memories of time spent with Bill and family at picnics in the park.

Billy was one of the nicest men I ever met. I knew him through softball team friends. Always smiling, always laughing. What a joy he was to be around. He was a marvelous athlete. Our mutual friend, Woody, would be astounded that he was still playing ball at 86. His teammates are waiting up there to have a reunion. Here’s To you, Billy. I’m glad I knew you. May you Rest In Peace.

Always saw Bill at SU basketball games. We usually had a little chat before tip-off from our "community" in Section 123. All who have been there since the Dome opened will miss Bill right on the aisle. Great guy.
