Robert Beron, 104, died Friday at Menorah Park. He was born in Syracuse and lived his entire life in this community.Today would have been his 105th birthday.Bob, or “Beansy” as he was affectionately
known was the former owner of the B & V Bakery where he and his beloved wife Rae worked side by side for many years untiltheir retirement. Bob was a member of Temple Beth El, and the men’s club of the Temple. He was an avid athlete who enjoyed basketball, boxing, bowling and swimming. He loved to attend Syracuse Chiefs, and SU games. Survived by his daughter and her husband Inez and Bob Hecht, his son and his companion Richard Beron and Sally Bousquet, his grandchildren Debbie, Amy, Randy, and Melissa; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon Sunday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 11 to noon at the Chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street.
Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.Contributions may be made to The Syracuse Boy’s and Girl’s club
