A beautiful obituary for a wonderful man. My condolences to all his family. I apologize for the tardiness of this note but just saw this on the Internet today. Hal was my professor and dissertation advisor. I will always be grateful for his intelligence, kindness, guidance with my work, and his friendship. He will never be forgotten by his students.
