Arnold "Arnie" Manheim

Arnold “Arnie” Manheim, 87, died Thursday at Francis House. Born to Maurice and Irene Manheim in 1930, he had been a life resident of Syracuse. He was a graduate of Nottingham HS.
During his professional career Arnie was a trusted and respected jeweler with Wilson Jewelers for more than 30 years; then he was associated with Arnow Jewelers; and for the past 12 years he had worked with his good friend Ralph Monforte at Cazenovia Jewelers in Fayetteville.
Arnie was a life-long member and past president of Temple Adath Yeshurun; and a former board member and vice president of Menorah Park.
He loved his almost daily tennis games with his regular partners both in Syracuse and in Florida.
His family includes his wife Marilyn of 60 years; their children Margie Cowan (Robert Meyersohn), and Michael Manheim (Marc Russell); and granddaughters Casey and Alexis.
Funeral services will be at noon on Monday December 11 at Temple Adath Yeshurun. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service on Monday from 10:30 to noon at the Temple, 450 Kimber Road. Burial will be in Adath Yeshurun Cemetery.
Shiva will be observed Monday, and Tuesday night from 7-9PM at Marilyn and Arnie’s home.
Contributions in Arnie’s memory may be made to Temple Adath Yeshurun or Francis House.
