I was stunned to learn of Karen's death. She seemed bigger than life to me and it is hard to imagine her voice not commenting on current issues. She will not be forgotten and her ideas will carry on.

I feel a tremendous loss for the beautiful soul we knew as Karen DeCrow, for her honesty, integrity and dedication. Her message and call for human dignity was as relevant for men as for women and for their children. It was my honor in life to have known her and call her friend. Karen, your life's work is an incomparable legacy.

So sorry to hear of Karen's passing. A friend of my mom's (Beatrice Krupkin) and fellow SU Law school alum, along with my mom, she co-founded of the Central New York Women's Bar Association. She was an amazing woman who paved the way for women's equality and men's paternity rights among many civil rights causes.
